Background Bisphosphonate-Related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw (BRONJ) is clinically characterized by the presence of exposed bone in the oral cavity that persists for more than eight weeks. Previous attempts to establish an animal model have not sufficiently considered disease features. Our aim was to establish an inexpensive and replicable animal model that develops BRONJ in a short time. Replantation of a maxillary second molar after removal of a third molar with a dentigerous cyst: Case report and 12-month follow-up

The aim of this study was to describe the replantation of a maxillary second right molar, which had been removed for surgical reasons in order to remove a dentigerous cyst associated with the adjacent third molar, and the case’s 12-month follow-up. A 51-year-old man presented swelling in the right maxillary area. Radiographic examination showed a large radiolucency in close proximity to the third molar, suggesting a follicular cyst. The third molar was extracted and the cyst underwent curettage. Longitudinal study of age and order of eruption of primary teeth in Indian children

Objective: To determine the chronological eruption parameters of primary teeth in Indian children. Study Design: A longitudinal study consisting of 135 healthy children (74 boys and 61 girls) attending three child health centres in the city of Hyderabad, India were randomly selected and followed from the emergence of the first to the last tooth. Ages and order of tooth eruption were studied for both genders. Results: Boys showed tendency towards earlier eruption for all teeth except maxillary second molar and maxillary/mandibular first molars which erupted earlier in girls.
